Contrast 002   Contrast 004

Ignore the nerdiness of my bookshelf and just find the stupid differences, okay?

Contrasting not happening

No contrasting pictures today.  Busy, busy, busy.  Later

Spot the differences!

I know the pictures are small, but if you really want a close look just click on the pictures and make them bigger.  And, try to be smarter about things, ok?  Jeez.  Smile with tongue out

Spot the differences between these two pictures!

I know the images are small, so the differences are a little easier to spot.

Also, now I really want a couple bowls of cereal.

So here’s the sitch.  below you have two pictures (“well, duh” you say, “I do have eyes, ya know.”)  I’m happy for you.  However, these are not ordinary pictures.  They are slightly different (besides the random pair of shoes in the upper left corner).  It’s your job to tell me what it is, and how it is.

No real way to cheat in this game, and this first one is a gimme.  But, seriously, if you feel yourself cheating, then stop and don’t spoil the game for yourself.

Without further ado – your pictures of the day.

So, what’s the difference?

PS. Get used to these being posted very late at night.

Here’s a picture just for fun that I took of the gang’s feet while we were still organizing ourselves.

New Project

Starting this coming Sunday, I am going to start the long planned and no longer anticipated project of “spot the difference” pictures.  I know, I know.  You can barely contain your excitement.  Don’t everyone thank me at once.  Please.

In all seriousness, I’m hoping this project can last the rest of the year, even if it means taking lame pictures of lame things and getting it up here at 11:59PM for the rest of 2012.

I mean, it’s all about starting something and then finishing it, right?  Nothing about putting any effort into making it look nice and neat and fancy and cool and awesome and news-worthy and stuff.

I want to do a project for the summer.  I know it’s not 365 days, but we can work something out.

We have a few options that I’m willing to consider, although I’m open to appropriate suggestions (nothing obscene, peeps, kids might be watching this!)

1. a new piece of home-made jewelry everyday.  This would include instructions and material list attached.

2. a new picture of (insert something) everyday. (ie. nature, peoples, whatever)

3. a new quote from someone everyday.  doesn’t have to be a famous person, but that would be up to the readers.

4. a movie clip.  Youtube, natch.

5. a hide-and-seek game.  (I would take 2 pictures of the same area, but something would be slightly different in one of the pictures.  it would be up to you to find out what).

6. absolutely nothing.  leave the website blank for 3 months, which wouldn’t be hard for me considering how bangup I’ve been about using it this spring semester.

K, for whomever might come across this website, please toss a vote in for any of the 6 options, or comment suggest an idea of your own.

have a good one.

Haha!  We did it!  Woot!  Wow, I didn’t think I would be able to do that for a whole freakin’ year.  Hope everyone had as much fun as I have with all of this.  It was a bit more than a project towards the end; it was a mission.  Now I know exactly where I’ll put a tattoo if ever I get one.

But, that’s a story for another time…

If anyone has any suggestions for a 365 project for 2011, let me know within the next 24 hours.  I have a few ideas tossing about in my head.
